East Zone Inter-University Sports Meet concludes

The five-day-long East Zone Inter-University Sports Meet, involving over 2000 players from 43 universities, concluded here at KIIT University campus today with seven different universities bagging the seven titles on offer in five disciplines.

Host KIIT University registrar Dr Sasmita Samanta gave away prizes in the presence of Association of Indian Universities representative Abhimanyu Singh and All India Chess Federation vice-president Sekhar Chandra Sahoo. The top four finishers in each category qualified to compete in respective All-India Inter-University Tournaments.
